Well, I don't know who's in charge here, but whoever it is decided to bless us with the most wonderful weather for three months - a real treat.
The start was at Plympton. When Graham Reed and I arrived, Anna was already there. We were joined by Bryan, Caroline, Julie and Andy Easton. I thought Graham Black might show up, but there was no sight of him, George, Yolande and Jean.
Bryan suggested going to Endsleigh or Wrangaton. But I suggested Lamerton which appealed to Julie, Graham Reed and Andy because it would be a longer ride.
In fact we covered about 47 miles in all. The route took us up the cycle path to Bickleigh and then onto the main road and past Buckland Monochorum to Denham Bridge and onto the ridge road. Lunch was at the Blacksmith's Arms in Lamerton. After that we made our way to Chaddlehanger and the old railway track across the top of Tavistock. Refreshed with another stop at Morrisons, we headed up the Drake Trail and back to Plymouth on the main road, arriving back at 4.15 pm. Nice.
