| Arrived at Hunting Lodge to find Bill Tuft waiting, then Ted Greenberry my latest recruit turned up to be followed by the Plympton crowd consisting of, Andy`s Prideux & Easton, Graham`s Black-John-& Reed,John & Jennifer Durham,Mike Willacy,Yolande & Julie,a total of 13 riders including myself. We all set off heading for Avonwick and then country lanes taking in, Royston bridge,Harbingtonford and onto Bow Bridge for coffe break with Graham Black deciding on half of Palmers ale.The sun came out for our pleasent stop by the river, so on went the suntan cream. When I managed to shoehorn everyone back to there bikes Ted decided to organise a photo shoot, see Photo attached. Finally we set off upto Aspington, which is a long drawn out hill as far as the Sharpen estate. We bypassed the vinyard and then off road on the cycle track to Totnes,enjoying the great views along the river Dart. From Totnes we picked up the cycle track to Dartington and onto the roundhouse caffe for lunch break. Then off on the route home taking in, Week, another big drawn out hill and onto Rattery, South Brent & Ivybridge,here myself,Bill & Ted said our goodby`s to the Plympton crowd. Ted said he enjoyed his first ride with us and said what a jolly lot we were, Andy Easton nicknamed him Father Ted.
