Six arrived at Hunting Lodge today,Ted Greenberry,Andy Easton, Graham Black, Mike Willacy, Dave Newman & Nicci. After discussion of wether they wanted a easy ride or hard ride,we set off on my easy ride towards Buckfastleigh. On reaching Bittaford I though some hill training was in order, so we turned left under the railway arch for our first climb. We then proceced through Wragaton, Owley,South Brent,up through Lutton and onto Bloody Pool Cross, which after a few hills everyone felt  bloody knackered.Ted bought us all to a halt for our first photo shoot of the day with his new super camera. We then set off towards Buckfastliegh and down the long hill to Gidley Bridge and then to the railway staion caffe for our first stop. We had wellcomed drinks with Andy keeping us amused, he said to the chap at the counter, "If I order a breakfast how long will it take,to which the chap said about 10.30 tomorrow morning we stopped breakfast about an hour ago" it was now midday.
All refreshed we set off again, minus Mike,Dave & Nicci who where going back. We took the Old Totnes Rd. towards Dartington, then up past the Cott Inn and on across the Totnes/Avonwick road joining an off road track and onto another nice hill.Once we got our breath back it was onto Harberton for our secound break at The Church House Inn, I had a pint of Chuckle Ale the local brew, but the others settled for coffee. Off we set again down Yogi hill and then up the reversed slope which was just as challenging, and then back to Ivybridge via Avonwick, South Brent & Wrangaton.
By now the sky to the west was clearing after a very misty but dry day, with a lovely sunset that evening.Myself and Ted clocked up 36.4 Miles after another enjoyable ride
