Car assisted ride from Truelfoot
I was concerned on Sunday because whether it was too adventurous with one new member and Graham without his motor but we all got back though cold and tired after some challenging lanes and hills.
The route took us down to Looe for our first stop at the sea front cafe then on to west Looe and the steep climb up to the main A387. Lunch was on the quay at Polruan, across from Fowey.
The return journey was by Pont Mill and the lovely lanes and with some steep climbs! and it was there that we lost John for a while. Later on we all met up at Lanreath and continued via Herodfoot eventually on towards the A38 and back to Truelfoot.
Hope that the distance and the cold did not put Tina our new rider off and that she will be out again and well done Graham without his motor.
'B' riders: Anna Bryant, Bryan Richardson
Bryan and I battled against the cold wind up to Wrangaton, where we started talking to two lady cyclists. They then both had a go on Bryan’s bike and admired the neatness of the engine and Bryan’s craftsmanship, which made his day. Anna
