It was a drizzly grey day when I arrived at the Torpoint and Trevor appeared soon after and I thought that we were it but at the last minute Mike arrived and now making it three.

Arriving in Cornwall we made our way via St Germans, Merrymeet and on towards the Minions and the Farm Shop nearby for coffee, cake and warmth, so when we were fueled we noticed the weather had taken a turn for the worst and this influenced our decision to make a bolt for home via Pengover Green but not before stopping at Elliot Pub in St Germans to give them some trade!

Now rested we made the final leg of the journey back to the ferry now by which time it was dark and we needed to put our lights on which is a sign that winter has arrived.

Well done, Graham, Trevor and Mike! It seems as though the bad weather draws Mike out. I was busy with CTC Devon AGM in Ashburton. I did notice quite a few cyclists out on a day I would thought of as a write-off. Thanks, Graham, for turning out on such a day and leading a very successful ride.
