Dozmary Pool - a place of legend and mystery, a site that is claimed to be the home of the Lady of the Lake. According to the legend, it is here that King Arthur rowed out to the Lady of the Lake and received the sword Excalibur.

Torpoint Ferry was the start of the ride to the Lake of Legends high in the distant Hills

The band of Brothers soon encountered evil spirits disguised as a fair maiden but we soon sent her packing back to the Hole of semi skilled artisans.

We passed though villages with names of the Saints then we glided under the A38 and headed steadily climbing up to Pensilva where we had arranged to meet Larry but he was not to be seen. The café there was closed so I immediately had to put plan B into action and made our way to the nearby Farm Shop feeling very tired and felt unable to journey on! There Graham J ate a hearty giant pixie meal and was now fully charged, he then shoot off and made is own way to meet up with the wizard that resides on the shores of the Lake of Legend. With one wave of the wizards wand and a puff of sulphurous smoke the tired group now energised suddenly appeared before Graham and the wizard standing beside the Lake.

Then we was pushed on by the friendly hand of gravity and sailed down the hill to the next place of rest hosted by the Sons of Morris, here we partook of sweetmeats of the North (Eccles cakes now reduced to 65p) and goblets of brown liquid infused with herbs from distant lands.

The final leg of the journey back through Doddycross where we parted company with David and GrahamJ and towards to Torpoint via a steep decent into Polbathic and back to the Ferry.

Great route, Graham. Now I know what you get up to when I'm not there.
