There was a grand total of two at the Bridge for the start of our ride on a blustery, rainy, sunny day with a few rainbows thrown in for good measure.
We headed for Pensilva and going passed Pillaton I glared angrily at the pot holes that had brought Larry off his bike recently then moving on, battling against winds which made it seem that we were going up hill all the time we then arrived at Pensilva community center, where was a sign saying that they were open but we found no sign of life so we carried on to the farm shop nearby, Trevor did the honors and ordered mince pies with clotted cream and hot americanos.
Fueled we headed to Upton Cross and Rilla Mill then turn right we followed the river Lynher to Golberton, where I met a blond glamorously dressed lady standing in a phone box where she invited me to a party but I told her that we must continue on our ride, but looking back at her, I thought she looked a bit stiff and wooden!
Journeying on Trevor and I made a decision that being it was now bright and still early, so we headed for the Engine House cafe at Kelly Bray where there was already a Xmas party celebration going on. Afterward we rode back through Metherell and St Dominick making our way to the A388 and back to the Bridge with nearly 40 miles on the clock finishing another good day.
