A very bright morning greeted me when I arose late, and rushed to get to the Torpoint Ferry on time. I was just about there when I heard Graham's dulcet tones from behind, and we were the first to arrive, soon joined by Andy Prideaux and Mike Willacy.  Apologies from Graham John. Our Leader reported that Yolande had been in touch and intended to come but was having bother with a flat tyre.  We boarded the ferry and Graham soon discovered that he too had a soft front tyre.

We spent the crossing admiring Mike's new saddle bag adorned by a multitude of rear lights. Was Mike inspired by Heath Robinson? However he has made life difficult for himself, the brackets don't allow him to swing his leg over very easily!
Off the ferry and we took over the bus shelter around the corner and used it as a workshop, Graham clould it have swapping his front tube.  On the road again, and heading for Seaton, we turned off on Horsepool Road near Sheviock and Graham had to pull into a gateway and swap his tube again, and on this occasion succeeded in rectifying the problem. So it was a little later than planned for tea-break in Seaton, stopping in The Pavilion Beach Bar Cafe with the glass walled sun-lounge upstairs overlooking the bay.

Mike and Andy decided after break it was time to head home, and excuses, excuses yet again!! Graham and I headed for Looe, enjoying the winter sun on a sea-front bench, people watching whilst having our lunch. From there we crossed the bridge to West Looe and headed up that massive, long hill towards Watergate and Duloe, then St Keyne passing by the well, on to Trewidland. Arriving at the Copley Arms, Hessenford during a short shower we took afternoon tea in front of the fire. Leaving there with lights at the ready through Antony and back to Torpoint in the dark, and the chill factor was beginning to make itself felt! We had to wait for the next ferry, but I was back home a little after 6.30 and rode the furthest, a smidgen over 50 miles. Lovely day out thanks Graham.
