Five at the start and we decided to go to Ensleigh garden centre for the first stop and from there we would sort out a route for the day. Here, Anna and Sue made their way back and the rest of us went on our way via Cornwood, Wotter and then on to Sheeptor, which took us along some quiet lanes with good views over Dartmooor, then we dropped down steeply into the village near the church, for lunch. Afterwards we did a loop around Burrator reservoir and then back to Plymouth along the Plym trail but before getting back another tea stop was required, Mike wanted to support the steam railway at Coypool, so Jean and myself joined him. On the way there, I mentioned that it was one of George's haunts and true to form as we where leaving, George was arriving, so we said our hello's and goodbye's also expressing pleasure in seeing him out on his bike, after his ope.
It was a good April day with approx' 40 to 50 miles covered
