The ride was through St John's and Millbrook, leading to Maker Camp for our coffee stop. On arriving at the camp after negotiating several hills in the process we were not alone as most of the outside seating had already been taken, owing to the good weather.
After coffee Graham R and Mike W decided to go back, which left 4 of us to complete the ride. After riding through Kingsand, Cawsand, we were finally on the coastal track with its stunning views of the Cornish coastline
. After several stiles and the lifting of heavy bikes, we would soon be on the road for Whitesands Bay. Having arrived at Whitesands the Cliff Top cafe was soon in view as this would be our lunch stop.
Lunch was enjoyed with further views as we sat on benches over looking cliffs and the beaches below, as the surf hit the white sand.
After lunch, it was the journey back to Torpoint passing through Freathy, Tregantle and the B327 . A great day out and hopefully more to come.
