Three of us went on Larry’s ride Larry Trevor and me, it was excellent . Not many hills just steady climbing to Tintagel pot of tea for three, at a bakery. Then a climb to Boscastle and a 4 mile climb out steep initially however enjoyable in spite of it’s length. onto Canworthy water the source of the river Otter where we sat on the river bridge and ate our sandwiches, in the sunshine. We continued to Launceston on the lane south of the river and then from Launceston climb to South Petherwin and back to Plusha.
The route I have attached is from memory and is slightly shorter than we did which was near enough 50 miles.
Larry asked me to do this as you were interested in the route, we could extend it it for your 100k from Plymouth perhaps.
Many thanks to Larry for a well planned enjoyable ride, the rest of our members missed a good day out.

Lovely day as Sue, Bryan and I headed for Wrangaton. Plympton was chock-a-bloc with traffic, the motorway was closed and traffic was diverted through Plympton. Some drivers thought they could beat the queue to the Plympton slip road by coming off at the Lynham, but then could not get out of the lane due to the traffic coming from Plymouth and joining the motorway east. So it was quiet and relaxing going along the Windy ridge down to Ludbrook and Ermington. 26 miles on the clock.
