Riding from the ferry on what turned out to be a sunny spring day and hopefully a start of a good summer?
Trerulefooot was our first stop after going through Crafthole, Polbathic and St Germans. the Woolen Mill cafe was busy as was the rest of the day,due to the warm weather bringing out the crowds after the cold days of winter.
Leaving Trerulefoot we continued down into the Seaton valley and through Hessenford on to the beach side cafe at Seaton, again very busy.
After our second stop, rather than the usual coastal way back we went up a very steep hill to Narkurs and then taking some narrow lanes back to Crafthole , here it was decided because was still early on this bright day we would go back along Whitsands Bay, Millbrook and the tidal ford at St John then back to the ferry.
Forty miles and many steep climbs was the end of a good day.
Lovely day to be out, Sun, no wind, if somebody made the hills a bit flatter, it would be ideal. Sue, Bryan and I went to the Woollen Mill via Cornwood and Mark’s Bridge. Anna
