Section runs started again after the Tour with only one Sunday being a wash-out. Even so Graham Black turned up at the start for a shorter run with Dave Newman. Sunday 26 June was the date for the Tamar 100. This year there were four entrants - all from the Plymouth Section. Andy Easton and Dave Newman completed with Andy Easton gaining first place. The route was flatter than in previous years and took in the lanes west of the A388 below Launceston - a part of Cornwall I am growing to appreciate more as I explore it. There were other big events taking place on 26 June, which accounts for the low participation in the event. It seems that we are spoiled in this part of the country for choice. I will move at the Section AGM this coming September that the event become a club run in future rather than a DATC event.
