This year we were especially pleased to award the Devon DA Trophy to Iris Buckler, who was the backbone of CTC Plymouth for many years, and also to present a bouquet to her daughter, Helen Booth, who did such a grand job in devising the route and clues for the Treasure Hunt held in May 2015. Anna Bryant was awarded a platter in recognition of her contribution in keeping the 'B' riders together, and Graham Black received the most points Trophy.
One of our new members, Ted Greenberry, pointed us in the direction of OTM Printers in Ermington, who were able to supply and print CTC Plymouth jerseys at a good price. The printing was generously funded by CTC Devon, to whom the Section wishes to express its gratitude, and we hope that wearing Section livery through advertising will gradually draw in new members to the Section.
John Durham and Yolande Bériot have been an enormous help in organising the Section Tour to Brittany in May/June, which has the support of 10 Section members.
We look forward at the beginning of a New Year to another enjoyable and successful year in cycling and to Larry Clarke's YHA tour to North Devon in September.
