Welcome to the Plymouth CTC part of Cycling UK
We are a informal - social and friendly club with a mixture of riding abilities with the aim of discovering the lanes and byways ( avoiding main roads ) of Devon & Cornwall + the hidden cafes & farm shops for tea/coffee and cake. Meeting every Sunday morning weather permitting from different locations, we publish a list of planned rides with the leaders on the website. The idea is to ride at a steady pace with regards to the slowest rider in the group ( no racing ) and enjoy the beautiful countryside of Devon & Cornwall with the odd coffee & cake stops, also the occasional pub stop. All are welcome to join us we ride on a mixture of bikes, Hybrids-Road bikes-Touring -E Bikes, all we ask is after 3 rides if you like our club, is to join "Cycling UK". This has its benefits of insurance, cycling magazine and website with help and advice.
We offer 2 groups.
A Group - This is the stronger group for which the rides and locations are published, we are out most of the day covering 25-45 miles according to the leader on the day.You can just turn up on the day at the location published, for more information contact - Trevor or Graham.
